Life at Vista Group

We prioritise fostering a culture that best supports our crew and creates an inclusive, fair and flexible work environment that enables all of our people to realise their potential.

Diversity & inclusion

At Vista Group, diversity means acknowledging, appreciating and celebrating all of the many ways that we are different in all of its forms, both visible and not. It includes differences that relate to gender, age, culture, ethnicity, race, disability, family status, language, religion, sexual orientation, as well as differences in background, skills, work styles, perspective and experiences. We are certified with the Rainbow Tick, and are a proud member of the New Zealand Champions of Change group, where we have signed up to the 40:40:20 target to focus our efforts in increasing the representation of women across the group.

Wellbeing at Vista Group

Wellbeing

To support our people's wellbeing, we launched R&R Fridays (a 4.5 day working week) to give our teams a better balance between working and personal life. We also have a flexible working policy which, provides our team members and managers with a set of principles to allow us to do our best work, whether from the office or anywhere else. We offer health insurance and we measure our crew's engagement and wellbeing through monthly surveys, as ensuring everyone has a positive working experience is a priority across the businesses.

Social events

We plan many events throughout the year and globally we have social committees made up of our own crew who work together to create social events that bring people together, both in-person and online. We recognise many occasions throughout the year to connect, engage, and celebrate as a team, including Matariki, Chinese New Year, International Pride Month and International Women's Day, to name a few.

Vista Groups community responsibility

Community

It is important to us as a company and as individuals to contribute to our community and every team member has a paid day off each year to volunteer in a way they choose. We are determined to make a positive difference in people's lives and to foster community initiatives around the world. As a New Zealand company that operates globally in the film industry, we are also passionate about supporting the New Zealand film industry through the Vista Foundation. Established in 2015 by Vista Group and its founders, the Foundation undertakes a number of initiatives to help nurture the continued growth and success of the New Zealand film industry.
